Purpose of Consultancy
Providing Queen Rania Award for Excellence with the needed support to plan and implement a new phase.
Brief
CADER worked for five consecutive years with Queen Rania Award for Excellence with the aim of providing consultations and supporting the award team in planning for and implementing a new phase in Queen Rania Award for Excellence called (interview phase) that comes before the field visit phase. To interview the award candidates and check their ability to provide and present authentic examples of their work in the field, in addition to saving the time and effort of the award team by helping them only visit the candidates who pass the interview phase.
The interviews were implemented in collaboration with CADER; where an expert from CADER participated in each interview committee as a role model while conducting the interviews and as an observer to provide feedback to enhance this new phase. At the end of this work, CADER supported the team in designing the feedback reports for the candidates who were interviewed.

CADER worked with the award team on developing the Interview Phase for the three awards offered by Queen Rania Award for Excellence which are:
- The Distinguished Teacher Award.
- The Distinguished School Principal Award.
- The Distinguished School Counsellor Award.

Purpose of Consultancy
Preparing a discussion paper focusing on the following three aspects:
- Preparation of students and developing their skills and competences in general and pre-employment education in Jordan.
- Appropriateness of teachers’ preparation and training programs, the mechanism of their provision, and the system of bonuses and the motivation of teachers in order to prepare students for the requirements of the Jordanian labour market.
- The suitability of Jordan’s approaches to 21st century skills and the requirements of the knowledge economy.
Brief
In partnership with UNESCO, CADER worked on the Post 2015 Agenda Concept on Education project that included preparing a discussion paper as a reference for Post 2015 Agenda national consultancy in Jordan. This paper aimed at drawing on a number of emerging international, regional and national trends and policy frameworks that may influence education policy priorities in Jordan beyond 2015 towards making education more relevant to workplace for youth. This paper was part of international consultations regarding UNISCO initiative; Education for All, and UN Millennium Development Goals.
CADER prepared the final report highlighting the major recommendations stemming from the review of educational literature, interviews, and surveys, in addition to a set of structured key guiding questions that were asked to participants* in a national forum which was held in the period of (19th – 20th) of February 2013. The participants ultimately formulated a national vision that Jordan would participate in the Post 2015 Development Agenda framework.

Purpose of Consultancy
Maintaining the sustainability of implementing all professional development programs associated with the Education Reform Support Project (ERSP).
Brief
CADER provided this service within the Education Reform Support Project (ERSP). CADER participated in partnership with other stakeholders in developing Jordanian Ministry of Education’s Professional Development Framework, developing standards for principals and supervisors, setting indicators linked to these standards and planning for a comprehensive and unified implementation for all principals and supervisors leadership programs in the ministry. In addition to that, CADER worked closely with the Ministry of Education on the design and implementation of a transition plan to ensure that the implementation of all professional development programs within the (ERSP) project to be gradually transferred over two years to the Ministry in order to become national programs implemented by the Ministry of Education of Jordan. The transition plan provided capacity building inputs over a two year period to a selected group of trainers, directorate officers, and Central Ministry of Education staff.

Purpose of Consultancy
Assessing the needs of the Human Resource Development project utilizing Information and Communication Technology possibilities within Developing High Education Sector Project in Yemen.
Brief
A team of CADER visited different universities and training centres in Yemen to collect data in order to identify the target group needs. Eight universities and four training centres were visited and various data were collected and used in identifying the needs of these universities and centres regarding the use of Information and Communication Technology in high education.
